The report “Open Data in Municipalities for Civic Participation: Description of the Situation with Recommendations” is part of the awareness-raising activities in Latvia on the topic of open data.
The aim of our activity is to involve Latvian non-governmental organizations, open data users, public sector data holders, academics and policy makers in discussions about the situation with open data and to understand the needs of how to act and how to achieve further data disclosure.

This publication is part of the ManaBalss project “Open Data in Public Participation”, which is implemented with the support of the Nordic Council of Ministers’ funding program for NGO co-operation in the Baltic Sea Region.
